I'm looking for a fixed/track frame. I'm not looking for the best or most expensive but a fair frame - I'm currently riding a Cannondale R300 as a fixed gear. I'd prefer to buy something used like from craigslist since it would be cheaper than buying something new.
What are some good frames to look out for and what is a decent price to pay? I'm 6'3 so I need something like 61/62cm - not sure if some manufacturers make those sizes more than others. And or, what are some frames to stay away from. I'd like to pay $200 or less
Also. My chainline is a little off on my current bike. I bought some small spacers to put between the spider and chainring, which has helped a little but not much. Is there a point of having too big of spacers where it becomes unsafe to ride? - I'm not talking like 1/2" spacers or anything. What other alternatives do I have to creating a straighter chainline? A spacer between the cog and hub?
Thank you.
