Tandem Cycling - Mach1 Omega rims?

Does anyone have experience with Mach1 Omega rims on a Tandem?
I've got a chance to buy a set for a good price and I was wondering about their durablility? These were spec'd on the 2008 and 2009 Cannondale Road 3 tandems. They were built on Shimano Hubs so I'm not worried abouot the hubs at all.
Since Mach1 is a French company there's very little information on them here in the US. The price of these rims is rather low in the UK.
I was thinking about using these as a spare wheelset that I'll put 25MM tires on for fast mostly flat century rides.
I guess if the rims don't hold up I could re-build these using Velocity Deep Vs.

Does anyone have experience with Mach1...rims?

Well, since no one has responded to this post, I'll bump the thread with a pic of what I can't help but think of with Mach 1 rims, the classic Magnum 500 (http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCatalog/WheelParts/magnum_500.htm)'s.

That is funny. When I was doing Google searches without the word "bike" or "bicycle" all that came up was the Mustang Mach1 rims. Sorry these won't fit on my tandem.

I'm surprised that nobody responded to this post. From the info I've seen all 2008 and 2009 Cannondale Tandem 3s came with these rims and that's a very popular tandem. Probably one of the most popular tandems sold. There must be people that have this tandem on the forum, or maybe not??.

I really like the Velocity Dyads that I built up, but the smallest tire they recommend is 28 mm. I assume that the Deep V is based on a similar extrusion and engineering.

According to the Velocity site (http://www.velocityusa.com/default.asp?contentID=584) the Dyad is 5 mm wider than the Deep V, and 8mm less deep.

The reason I was asking about these rims was I found a set of Tandem wheels on Ebay that had these rims laced to Shimano Hubs. I bought them for a really low price. I was looking for a second set of wheels to use on our Trek T1000.
These wheels look brand new, supposedly they had only 200 miles on them. I mounted a set of Continental GP4000s 700x25mm and put on a small cassette for use on faster flat centuries. So far these are excellent. We used them on a century ride yesterday and we were able to average 19mph. We hit a massive pothole yesterday that I couldn't avoid due to other riders and traffic , I was sure we would blow a tire or two or bend a rim but the rims stayed perfectly true. I think these are pretty durable.

Have the tension checked buy a good mechanic.
