Howdy,
The bottom pulley on my old panasonic (shimano derailer unit) has a nasty habit of folding back on itself past the stop piece when I drop the chain. There is a little nick in the stop piece (which I think is a result of the pulley snapping back after dropped chains for the last 20 years). Is there any way to stop this? It's really a pain out on the road.
Until I find a decent solution I've put a nice big piece of Trident of on the worn spot to stop the pulley......I have a feeling that will not a be a long-term solution.
Thanks!
