i picked this frame up it was in a pile of bikes. its defiantly light im thiking it is chromoly. says factory raced deaign on it.. super stock .. im not a schwinn guy .. more into gt's can any one tell me what this frame is .. is it really a race bike or knock off... is it a good bike or sucky look alike...heres the serial numbers...acf7e00706....also has ss-1 near it...thanks guys

I believe that frame to be about 10-12 yrs old. I used to race BMX around that time and remember seeing them when I did my Pro Mod build. IIRC the Super Stock frames were sold as completes with several trim levels. Mostly low to mid level and the frames were cromoly. I've had my Pro Mod from that time and it still rides great. I was very happy with Schwinns quality around then...I think they went out of business/were sold a couple years later.
