Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Did you notice the dog was also dragging the hurt dog in a way to not risk further spinal injury by gripping with the forelegs and dragging along the axis of the spine at the shoulders? Instinct, or incredibly smart dog?
Judging by Tom's response, I know the video. It breaks my heart every time to watch it, so I won't... even though I know the dog lived. (He did, right? Just lie to me!)

At the end of the video, it was picked up by Animal Services and the rescue dog was tagging along. I suspect the dog did live.

Where's that video someone posted a couple months ago of some old man who had fallen while crossing the road. Then traffic just goes around him and no one stops to help. Crazy! I've been in hundreds of places around the world where someone would always stop within 5-seconds of seeing something like this...

Apparently in more remote areas people still help each other out. The same people in a more urban environment would look the other way. Logic behind this is, with fewer people around it's obvious you will have to stop and help, otherwise who knows how long it's going to take. On a busy highway you can always think, someone else got it.
That logic fails to explain why, on a busy highway, once help is being given, suddenly everybody is willing to stop and take a pic or six. :notamused:
