Why is it that every single rider I have run into, and I mean every rider, is a complete egotistical jerkoff? Here's an example from the other night. I'm out riding with my friend at our usual spot. There's another guy there. I tried to say hi, but he just blew it off. For the next half-hour he proceeds to do the "everything you can do, I can do better" routine. I do an icepick. He does an icepick 180. I practice my bunnyhops. He practices bunnyhop barspins. You get the idea.
So why?! What is the point of that?! Yay, you're better than me. Congratulations, cause now I just think you're an a-hole.
Everybody needs to drop the attitude.

Everyone around this area is awesome.. Everyone i ssuper friendly with each other.. It's veruy confusing to their non-rider friends when riders who dont know each other can seem like they've been friends for years the first time they talk. what im saying is the riders around here are very friendly, even if you dont know them. and usually the only people who what i do better are my friends.. but its just in fun.. usually drives me to do what they're doing thats better than me. But your situation doesent seem too enjoyable.. sorry people suck around you man.
Yeah, that's how it was in my skating days. It was perfectly cool to walk up to a group and skate with them. All of the riders I have ran into around here are really territorial and stand-offish.

Some kids are really nice and some are not. I learned this transfer with a skater one time and made enimies with a nother kid at the same park. It suks but I usually ride by myself now days so I dont really mind

Pup what state you in, cuz i know out here in texas people can be territorial (i think thats how you spell it) and other times they just real laid back, to me it depends on the.... karma atmosphere what ever youd like to call it. they usually cool unless you just got a personality they dont like

yeah people in texas are alwayz trying to be better than each other
but they probably wont do anything.....
or you could just carry a knife ;)
