Currently running a 700x25 front and 700x28 rear on my fixed gear, purely out of having no other tires/money to buy new ones :D. Anything wrong with this?

Mixing/Matching Tires
Most bikes come with identical tires front and rear. This is all right for general use, but if you want to optimize your bike, you should consider using different tires front and rear. The front and rear tires have different loadings and different requirements.
Narrower Front, Wider Rear
If lightness is the primary goal, tire width/weight is limited by the risk of pinch cut flats (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/flats.html#pinchcuts), a.k.a. "snake bites. (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/flats.html#snakebite)" Since there is more weight carried on the rear tire, you can get away with a slightly narrower tire in front than you can in back.
Wider Front, Narrower Rear
A wider front tire makes sense in many applications, however, when handling and ride comfort are considered. A wider tire will generally provide better cornering traction (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/tires.html#traction) than a narrower one, assuming appropriate inflation pressure (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/tires.html#pressure). A wider tire also provides superior shock absorbency. I personally prefer a slightly wider tire in front, since I suffer from some wrist discomfort on occasion.

I run a 26x1.35 in the front and 700cx28 in the back. But im gonna run both 700c x 28 soon.

thats just like on my bmx, i run 1.95 in the back and 2.125 in the front. although 20" of course

i run 700x32 up front (schwalbe durano) and 700x28 fyxation in back (although they run more like 32s)
yah nothing that wrong with having different sized tires up front or back, although 700x23s with 700x40 something would be awkward lol

i've got a 27 inch wheel up front and 700x28 in the back.... its all good

I have a 26X2.25 in front, and a 26X1.25 in back. Nothing wrong with it, except that now my top tube slopes.
