I'd like to get some responses from out of the school population. The survey focuses on quick and healthy meals on the go for kids. The plan is to gather data and come up with a marketing plan and strategy for McD in response to the Happy Meal toy ban.
If you are a parent of preschool to elementary school age kids or sometimes care for kids that age, please take my short, 17 question survey. It shouldn't take you more than 4 minutes. Thanks in advance!

OK, I took the survey but I think question 8 needs to be reworked. We haven't been in a McDonalds in probably 5 o 6 years, so I'm not really sure I know what their current happy meal offerings are. I answered as if they were the same as they were last time we were in a McD's. Second, the two choices that are not "same as current offerings" both include fries. Since the question is asking what I'd prefer, I chose one but I don't like the options provided. Either a "none of the above" or a fill in your preference would be preferable, and the fill in would potentially give more valuable feedback.
The only fast food meals my kids have eaten with me recently have been Chipotle's, which include a quesadilla or taco, rice and beans and juice, milk or soda. Still not balanced, but better than any of your choices IMO. FWIW neither of my kids likes McDonalds, Burger King, etc. - they both complain of stomach aches after if they eat there with friends.

My kids are older than your target but I did the survey anyway.
I have been at McD probably not more than 5 times in the last 20 years. We are very quality oriented in regards to food and that's what our kids have been raised into. McD, and most of their fast food peers for that matter, have a lot to learn in terms of healthy and tasty food.

And why would I want to help McD, a company singularly responsible for who knows how many health woes?

Because maybe they're looking into making a change? Individuals are responsible for their health woes. McDonald's is responsible for giving people what they want. Same with Walmart, or any other successful enterprise. They'd all dry up tomorrow if people stopped going in.
Jeez, folks - Chris asked for help on a project. Fill out the survey, or don't. P&R is the place to pontificate about "insert corporate demon of your choice here".

Thanks John and everyone for your help and support. I have no dog in this fight; just trying to get a good grade!

Well said. Unless, of course, McDonalds is force feeding people, than they are evil. But asking if you want fries with that isn't force feeding.
cantdrv55, I took it.
My children eat healthy, McD's is a occasional treat, so my results have to be filtered through the understanding that we generally couldn't care less about fast food. Somewhere in that survey maybe the question should be posed how often one goes to, or takes children to a fast food restaurant.
In any event.. how can anyone not enjoy the occasional fast food bucket 'o fries?
