ariZona tandems is planning to get back into the business of building quality carbon fiber tandems!
Yesterday had lunch with Bob Davis (the engineer/builder) and a real long chat.
Bob is a great innovator/builder/tinkerer and always has a half-dozen projects on the burner.
From doing component/tubing stress test, repairing other c/f bikes, coming up with new ideas and improving on others, he's always very busy.
So with luck, he'll be having his website up again and starting to build custom c/f tandems.
Disclaimer: have been friends with Bob for about 30 years, have tested some of his innovations (prototype single/tandems, c/f stoker bars, c/f stoker handrests, etc.)
Also are the happy owners of the second c/f tandem he built; that bike now has over 30,000 miles on it.
