I am still in good spirits considering.

A: The wheels on one of my rode bikes were stolen, along with the under the seat bag.

B: My wife didn't have 5$ cash to kick in to the powerball, and her co-workers just hit 100k.

The good news is that the wheels weren't my expensive ones, and the we never had the money anyway so why does it matter?

Always look on the bright side of life eh?

I guess I had semi good news yesterday, I got my new iMac G5 20" in the mail.
Instead of the airport card I had ordered, it came with 1g of ram, which is quite an upgrade. So that ain't so bad.

Still I feel a little like the simpsons in that episode where Santa's Little Helper needs an operation, so Bart has to go to the barber college and Marge stops playing the lotto, the next day her numbers hit.

Don't worry about it - you guys don't really need the money. And for the wheels, at least it wasn't the Phil hubs... right? Please tell me it wasn't the Phil hubs...

There's an old saying that people in this country use in business. "Things are never as good as they seem, and things are never as bad as they seem". I think it's one to live by.
