School me on pedals and what straps/clips work best. I currently am using the crap stock Kilo pedals w/o clips and I hate riding like that. The pedals I have been looking at are these MKS ones:

I think I'd prefer clips over straps, but I really don't know what works best.

All my bikes have/had Gr-9's. It's really easy to get into them, but the downside is that you cant use double straps unless you get longer bolts.

+ you dont need a pedal wrench for gr-9's. hehe.

MKS Sylvan gets my vote.

I have heard people with larger feet prefer the GR9.

the second pair dont do well with double straps or the strap setups (no toe clips) i had a set with blaq straps and gave them away to a shop in japan for some normal toe cages and straps

i LOVE the GR9 pedals cause they are super easy to flip, but they just dont do well with double straps or fabric straps
I have the Sylvans sitting here for my fuji pro that is on teh way when i dont want to use my SPDSLs

The MKS Sylvans are copies of traditional track racing pedals such as the old Campy Record Pista, which are meant to be used with stiff soled cycling shoes (see pic) with slotted cleats. They work poorly and are uncomfortable with soft soled shoes. Much better to get a platform pedal like the GR9.

Longer bolts work to make gr9's and double straps perfect. Zero problems with this setup

Always thought the gr-9 pedals looked more comfortable.

Hot bolts, yo.

Very comfy. I can ride for hours on them, even in chuck's! Regular road pedals? Hell no. BMX pedals? Naturally better

i love my sylvans. But some people don't like the fact that the tab is smaller than the GR9 and thus harder to flip, though i personally don't have problems with it.
