I love it! It looks like Raleighs the only company thats actually doing it right these days. :thumb:
purdy. I like the monochrome.

I want it. I want to see a real picture of it though.

raw frames are sweet!

Raleigh are totally doing it right...Sugino Messengers speak for themselves.
09-03-10, 10:36 PM
I like it, does anyone know the prices for them and when they will be available?
09-03-10, 10:43 PM
Wow! Are those the All-City Sheriff Stars?
09-03-10, 10:49 PM
Where the brake levers be at?
09-03-10, 11:34 PM
looks like cross levers up top.
edit: or photoshopped out?

Messengers, possible all city stars, looks like a regal, looks like a fun geo and the well proportioned tubeage....... I would buy if the price is right.

looks decent, messengers arent too big of a whoop but definitely better than most. all city sherrifs would be really orgasmatic as i love those old campy ones. looks like a regal knockoff, since i dont think they were ever made in white. NMSW and brakes are a sign raleigh thinks its customers are going to take off the brakes. oh well.

It looks like a knockoff, but the original regals for sure were made in white.

Thanks for the correction, never seen one before but a quick google search revealed the truth.

the specks say its messenger rings

bar and lever setup is the weak point.
It looks good. But it is exactly the same in every way except color (and saddle) as the 2010. Is that common to release "new" models with basically zero changes?
09-04-10, 11:44 AM
Passes muster in my squadron...maybe swap out the bars for some bullhorns for a little more street ridable position.
09-04-10, 12:18 PM
heres my 09 with drop bullhorns, doesnt look like much have changed to the 2011 model.

Nice looking bike
09-04-10, 05:00 PM
Maybe 2 weeks after I picked up my 2010 I saw the 2011 colors. I like the new colors better. The flat bar version ain't bad looking either.
no thanks, i'll salivate over this instead:
or the pro.
and if you like the raw look, the felt bougham is just as nice, especially in person:

It might be nice, if the wheels matched.
yeah, and i'd dig the rush hour if it had silver hubs. so...
09-04-10, 07:21 PM
i dig the rush hour if it wasnt for the white spokes. i lied before. the spokes are the disaster.
09-04-10, 08:17 PM
Ya well ya can't please everybody. That's why you can buy different color parts! Or paint them...
yeah, sure you could strip the wheelset down to bare hubs, then media blast and polish them... but i mean really...
when it comes to color of hubs, you have to be sure you're hitting nail on head.
