Looking to buy a road bike... it can be 30 years old as long as it fits me.. I am 5 foot 7 or 8?

would like to have an 1980s Centurion Turbo.. but anything will do as long as it FITS ME.

eBay?
learn what frame size fits you, seat tube length from 50 to 56 Cm a likely range.. top tube matters too.
frame designers choose this for your upper body portion, reach from seat to bars.
once you have a grasp on what framesize is right for you you can ask more detailed questions..
wheels, components, and all that..

The bike dealers around here suck, There just as bad as car dealer, they don't want to help.

I found a 2009 Scott Speedster S50, It is 56 cm?? he is asking $700 See if i can get it down to $500

How do i check what size i ride?

Specialized Elize Sport (M) road bike - $550
This is a great price for a great MEDIUM SIZE entry level road bike. Brand new Gator Skin Tires with Mavic XP 21 Rims, brand new Bontrager SSR seat, All Shimano Ultegra gear, inelli handle bars, just tuned up and ready to go. How tall are you? What is your inseam size? That will help us get you in the ballpark on sizing.

I do not know if i want to sell it or hang it on the wall as a trophy. Best fit 5 feet 6 innches up to 5 feet 10 inches. This is twice the bike of a schwinn varsity that you would buy at walmart for the same money... 1981 Myata 310 [30 years in cold storage = pristine, unbelievable condition!] 3 day restoration project / professionally assemled. Gorgeous , fast, comfortable. I am 52 years old - cannot ride many road bikes any more [too rigid] This bike is a soft ride I really enjoyed test riding

I guess i ride a 54CM.... Every bike around here is 60cm...So i guess i am ****ed?
