Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Repair Stand Recommendations

Looking to pick up a repair stand. Been checking out ebay and drooling a little at the park tools website. Anyone have one that they like? Are the ones in the upper $100 worth the price?

if you can't buy the park, try one out with a bike that weighs as much as yours first.
i did a diy a while back but it's so expensive you may as well get the park.

I've used the Nashbar and it worked absolutely fine for me. Seemed pretty sturdy.

I just got this guy a couple months ago and I LOVE it. Great stand. Easy to collapse and store. Very sturdy.

I have a Spin Doctor stand that looks exactly like the Nashbar stand. It is a total pos. Several key parts are made out of cheap plastic that easily break or get stripped. I rigged up a new way of adjusting the height after the plastic adjuster broke within 3 months of purchase. I wish I had read the reviews before vying it. The bad reviews were all correct.

+1 Great stand, very durable and stiff. and it being collapsible is just another plus.

I've been looking at the PCS-10 for a month or two now, but just can't bring myself to buy it. I've gone this long without it I think I might just keep going. I don't know though.

Generally, I flip my bike over on towels.

Depending on the work, a car rack can be easily fashioned into a repair stand by strapping it on something---fence, table, car if you have one. Never saw the need for a dedicated stand other than at the shop.

Id just like the clamp part. I have a stand to mount it to, already. Where can I get that?
