Two 26" hardtails that couldn't be more different. One is a 2009 Trek 4300, purchased new last spring. The other is a steel Diamondback Topanga from maybe 1996 that I bought for $50.00 last weekend off of Cragslist. I've been fixing up the Diamondback a little bit every day, and it will become a daily commuter/utility bike, thus allowing the Trek to return to the sole duty of getting dirty.

It'll turn over, as soon as it goes back to dedicated offroad duty. :D Hehehehe.. I needed the low profile on those 20 mile road trips with my daughter. For what it's worth, the Trek 4300 makes a damned comfortable road bike. I can ride 30 miles and feel great afterward.
