We enjoyed very much our second year coordinating the tandem bicycle program
at the annual Seabeck (WA) Deaf Blind Retreat. Of the 60 campers, about 35
got to ride a bicycle and at least 12 were riding a bicycle for the very
first time.

One of our new captains, Eric Shalit, posted a lengthy blog which caters to
the cycling community. We are hoping this exposure helps us to recruit more
captain volunteers.

We posted large laminated signs on our 2.5 mile loop this year which led to
the local newspaper publishing a story. The black on yellow print read,
CAUTION
Blind
Cyclists
Held the last week in August, we can't wait till next year,
