A friend has had his chain (Sram) jam in the Ti cage of his Sram Red Ft derailleur several times. Bike is an 2010 S-Works with braze-on fitting. Cage appears to be (or extremely close to) properly aligned. Also has problems with chain rubbing on inside plate of cage when in low gear.
Any tips or previous threads would be helpful.

how and where is it jamming. is the freehub going bad in his hub, causing the chain to bunch up on the top run? i would fully re adjust the FD. set the height and rotation/angle. reset the low limit screw to fix the rubbing and reset high screw.

Doubtful that freehub is culprit...

I have my FR as low as I could get it with out it rubbing teeth on LG chain ring shifts fine.
Most likely an alignment issue as noted above.
What gear combo is it rubbing the inside of the FD? Cross chaining it will rub some can't do much about that if its on the small chain ring and LG cassette then it is a setup issue.
