Living in Toronto and shopping on a budget made it that much harder, but after 2 weeks I finally did it.

Here they are, miche primato hubs x deep Vs

First person that guesses how much I paid for them shipped (tires, tubes, cogs, lockrings) gets a high five :D

What are you going to use as your ascent wheelset?

He'll probably flip them around. That's what I always do. Forwards on the ascent, backwards on the descent.

But seriously, those look like nice wheels.

I'm a big fan of "mee"-"kay" hubs. Those rims are also just enough V for me. My buddy who just build his gazzetta up with those rims but with origin8 hubs nearly swayed me. Those rims are the only tarck deep Vs I like.

I just agonized over a wheelset purchase to build up my new frame and I went with the Ambrosio track wheelset for $210 NIB/shipped on eBay. From what I can see they are just rebranded Miche hubs and rims as well. I'm amazed more people do not run Miche/Amborsio hubs. Love 'em.

Hubs with sealed bearings and 3/8 axles are all the same in my books. One set costs $30, another set costs $300. You pay for looks and the cachet.

I will gladly pay more money for a hub that looks better. The Miche and Ambrosio hubs look good. Better than Origin8 hubs. I won't pay another $200 to get allen cap screws. My $3 15mm wrench works just fine.

Again, hubs are hubs.

Wait, I thought Miche hubs use 10mm rear axle.
