Bicycle Mechanics - Brakes leaked a little, do I need to bleed?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I've got a Trek 6300 with Juicy 3 disk brakes. Stupidly I opened them up and a little (2-3 drops) ran out. Now when I pump the brake it closes the wheel enough to stop the tire from spinning with no one on the bike, but not enough to stop the bike with me on it. Do I need to do a full bleed (as shown on many youtube videos) or is there another way? Thanks in advance for any help.

Best Regards

You may not need a full bleed but you certainly need to bleed them to remove the air that you let in. Depending on what video you're talking about some or all of what they do will be required.

Thanks BC, I was afraid of that. I've got to pick up a kit and will let you know how it goes.
