Somewhere alot of pinkbike members are having their heads spontaneously combust due to no more pikes to put onto their DJ bikes.
The move to ditch the pike really makes no sense to me at all, still one of my favorite forks that I had owned.

The Pike was one of the last platforms to get a revision. Figure the Sektor is just the updated Pike. Some models have the same travel as the Revelation, some are still coil u-turn to 140mm. It's got the same chassis as the Rev, for the most part, so they save a bundle likely on manufacturing costs and spare parts inventory.
The whole Rev line is also air. The Sektor has the coil options, just like the Pike did. The groms can still have a coil fork and dial the travel down for siktergnarcor dj action.
I've had several Pikes. I like my Revelation better. The whole platform is every so slightly nicer, and a touch stiffer. The Sektor ought to feel similar.

I was sad to see the Pike no longer listed, but the Sektor doesn't look too bad. It does seem quite a bit cheaper than the equivalent Pike though. Wonder why.
Also, why won't RS make the forks in black with a 20mm axle? I don't want a white fork.
