All were caught at the end of our street yesterday. All were safely released, so I cannot gurantee that they are, as claimed delicious, but we all had fun.

Very nice. I'm still working with the kids to get them to throw their own fish back in the water. The "pokey fins" have stopped us from fishing... :P

The salmon will be running around Joy's birthday so we'll be canoeing and fishing for some pure deliciousness pretty soon.

This is a creek on a piece of land that used to be the summer home of a prominent Dallas family named Hunt. The ones that now own the KC Chiefs, formally the Dallas Texans. My dad took me fishing there when I was the age of my boys and now I take my boys there. And yes, we bought a house one block up from the creek, so it is at the end of my street. And yes, I do know how lucky I am.

my 5 yr old can bait the hook, cast, de-hook and release. so i no longer have to put my beer down when we go fishing. :)

The glow is from my sparkling wit. The boys baited their own hooks last night. Wade spent some time with my spinning rod practicing his casting with a small spinner bait. The creek is low and has quite a bit of moss in it, which makes accuracy a must. I really enjoyed just sittig back and letting the boys fish. We all learned something last night.

That's the tractor beam where the mother ship was beaming him up for some probing. Apparently the memory zapper worked just fine on him.
