I wouldnt buy it. Thats only because its $100 more shipped brand spanking new. Not that its in bad condition at all. I just want more than 100$ off for almost 3 years of wear or id rather flip my 100$ and buy a new one.

Just save up $100 more and get new. I cant' really see from the angle but I am pretty sure 2008 models came with crmo forks. (any verification?) + the decals are just fugly as hell.

looks like this is the model before they came with the carbon forks. it's not a bad deal at $260, especially if it's in good condition, but i wouldn't buy it. $100 is the price difference from a new one, and the new one comes with carbon forks, which i can justify spending the extra money on.

what's the advantage of a carbon fork? weight?

Yep and shock absorption...

And yes I can confirm that it does come with a fugly crmo fork... I mean seriously, crmo fork on an aluminum bike? Had a friend buy it mid last year and it shipped with a crmo fork.
You can tell from the pic too how the fork is curved; the "proper" carbon fork that comes with new ones is straight and bladed.

It looks brand new, save $ 100 and buy it.
