tailbox or tailsox

I am purchasing a Burley Django. I would like to get or build a tailbox or tailsock to make improve the already good aerodynamics.

Is there a minimum size tailbox that works? Do they all have to be huge and long to be beneficial? How about tailsocks? Do they really need to be neon tiger stripe to work?

Any opinions about body socks and fairings?

I saw an ad for the Angletech Aerotrunk tailbox. It looks like it be a good solution. I do not want to build one unless necessary as I am not good about finishing projects. Has anyone used one?
