I have that same one. Its not currently on any of my bikes at the moment. I can't say if it came off a certain build or not because it came with a bike I bought used.

Not everything from Bianchi is nice.
Also, keep things in PM if you guys are making a deal of some sort.

I've seen it. It's nothing special. Made by Velo. Bianchi doesn't make saddles. Velo makes them for lots of manufacturers and stamps a name on them. It's a stock saddle that comes on the Bianchi San Jose.
Save your money. It's probably not very comfortable or light, which are the two major factors in choosing a saddle.

i still need that...pm me bro.
That's one of the tackiest, ugliest, most god awful saddles I've ever seen.
used to come on the bianchi san jose (and maybe pista) back in 2005-2006. i thought it was pretty comfortable but that was a while ago, maybe my memory is betraying me.
That saddle came on the Pista that I picked up (new) about 4 years ago.
I give it the official comfort rating of "Ass hatchet".

How can you declare a saddle not comfortable as an out right fact. Many people may not find it comfortable, but that doesnt mean it wont work for some one. It just doesnt work that way.

i had the same saddle (minus the leopard print) that came stock on my pista. sh*t was pretty damn uncomfortable, was the first thing i swapped out.

I have a Velo saddle that looks similar to that. It's pretty bad and extremely ugly.

i think it would look good on the build im going for.. its going to be a wild ass looking bike but what fixie isn't...? i took before pics and have some parts on the way.so i plan on posting both pic's after i get them and put them on..im about a month away from getting the wheelset tho. so it will be 3 set's of pic's. but i need to hunt down one of the saddles as the crown jewel.

Yah, I wear pants. Ride centuries in jeans and a t-shirt :) (with my Brooks or Belt saddle). And ride a full plastic Kashimax for the cold months (down to -20F). The ergonomic cutout/leopard print seam sticks out and gets irritating after a hour or so in the saddle.

Yobatts is my favorite fake poster.
BTW, my "fixie" doesn't look wild ass.
yobatts
09-08-10, 04:55 PM
i still dont get why i am a fake poster or a troll....but what ever dude. if your fixie is not wild and eye catching then it better be really classic looking..i dont see any other direction you could go...
even tho my fixie is more for downtown bar hoppin/ long night rides(wasted) this guys comment about the "print seam sticks out and gets irritating after a hour or so" is really driving the facts home for me and i am second guessing myself. i just dont want to drop 50 or 100 bones on a plane saddle thats in the end is still not going to feel all that great after a long ride..so i will just grab a turbo i guess unless that was just a joke...

it took me about and hour but i scraped off the words freedom 10 off both sides with my finger nail and goo-gone. goo goon is a low low level removes thats why i figured it would not F up the paint..and it didnt do damage to the paint but it also didnt help much..my hands did smell like oranges tho.

I think the saddle is horrendous, however the frame has potential aesthetically. I don't know anything about how nice of a frame it is. But If I were you I'd leave the frame as is, get some hoods/levers, nicer bar tape, and foot retention. Are you running fixed or SS?
