Fifty Plus (50+) - Just featured in Yahoo's series, "Second Act"

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was contacted about a month ago by a producer from Yahoo.com. They had read about me in the book, "50 athletes over 50", and wanted to send a film crew out to interview and film me riding, for a series on Yahoo called "Second Act". I thought this would be the perfect forum for this thread since the series is about people over 50, who have "reinvented" their lives with something unique and positive. :)
I had fun with it and we filmed the interview and riding at Hummingbird trail in Simi Valley, CA. It just came out 9/7/10. In less than a day it's had over 30,000 views, and the producers told me it could go into the multi-millions since it's on their main page now. Good exposure for this emerging sport!

Very Nice
BTW, you have a typo in your sig line. It says Ungeezer and not UnIgeezer, although UN is probabaly just as appropriate.

I think the best laugh I ever got in my life was attempting to ride a unicycle I had just purchased at a second hand store. The better half and I had friends visiting and we all had done a little antiquing that afternoon. I spied this unicycle, bought it and tried to ride it when we got back to the house.
They were begging me to stop the laughter hurt so...

Well done! I enjoyed the video. Cannot imagine doing 100 miles on one wheel.

Great story, but I think you're lying about your age. You don't look more than 35.:D
Take care. I know a guy who says he will never be a father because he rode a unicycle too much.

Fantastic video!
Thanks for posting.
I still remember the video you posted a while back when you were coming down a piece of singletrack, and the hikers you are passing on the way down can be heard saying, "Whooaaaa...."
