Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Anyone try Velo or Vader seats?

Just looking to get a cheap seat to get my bike up and running. I see that some of the vader seats are knock offs of some higher end seats.

Theres a guy on local craigslist selling the velo seats for $15.

velo makes 80% of manufacturer spec seats. when they're good they're awesome.

my windsor hour came stock with a velo seat. it's a very basic seat, not especially comfortable but also no real complaints about it. if it's cheap and new I don't see it causing any problems for you down the road.

we have loads of Velo seats in the co-op, they all are pretty comfortable from my experience.

as mentioned, look under 90% of seemingly "no name" seats and they are actually made by velo. i have one on a beater fixed gear bike that i lock-up, while i probably wouldnt want to ride centuries on it, its fine for shorter trips. the build quality is certainly more than adequate.

I just got one of those vaders off ebay for like $15. It got here before my crankset so i havent had a chance to actually try it besides just sitting on it on the frame and pretending...

Seems at first glance maybe only a little bit better than what it costs... it'll work, but i doubt it'll be amazing. (I'll update more once I actually get to ride the thing)

thanks for the replies.. I ended up ordering this brown Velo, Looks pretty good, has a classy look for it, should be perfect for my schwinn that I am building up.
