Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Will a 26mm crosstop brake lever fit on 26.4mm handlebar?

hi. my bike has an old cinelli drop handlebar that is 26.4mm in diameter. i am looking at a crosstop brake lever that is 26mm and was wondering if anyone has tried this before. will it fit? obviously, we are talking about 0.4mm here, which is a small difference. nonetheless, i'd prefer to see if it would work, considering there aren't any levers that are 26.4.

I have the 26.0 Tektro cross lever on my 26.4 cinelli bars. no problem.
