krazy germans must have figured they wanted a modern version of this: http://www.kettenkrad.com/gallery.html

someone must have figured that tracks were better than fittin on a 8x8 with the weenie wheels it comes with.
I wonder if it can beat a pathfinder, jeep or land rover offroad.

I'm not entirely positive, given that it appears to be a very narrow track, but that looks like it would take significant modification to the structure of the car.

Look at the ground clearance. This is obviously someone who just wanted to put tracks on a Smart Car.

That would be lots of fun if it existed, or at least had doors. Honestly though, don't treads work better when there isn't a fender covering the front end?

Looks suspiciously like a Photoshop job. A nice one, but still...

Its missing a turet and a gun. I think a 3" should suffice for the gun.

Why? Cause they can. Same reason they put a jet engine inside a motorcycle :)

err....second thought...its still a smart car. Perhaps a .22 on a turret would be good.

Seems like a smart panzer would need a smart weapon. How about a TOW launcher on the roof?
