the binder bolt on my seat bolt broke today and the bike shop gave me a cromoly one to replace it.The old one was campagnola and I don't know what material.Will the cromoly one be alright?Thanks!

Campy seatpost clamp bolts are Cr-Mo just like every other make, they just cost more money.

As noted, grease the threads when you install it and don't get too ham fisted with the allen wrench. Tight is good. Too tight is not good.
