Okay, you can call me a sad git, anorak, or whatever international equivalants exist ;)
I bought a street atlas for East Kent this lunchtime, I've already got the local OS Explorer maps for the area but I don't like marking them as I find it distracting when planning walks etc. The atalas is pocket sized and at2.5 miles to the inch still shows the smallest hamlets and most minor lanes.
So why did I buy it? I'm going to start marking off routes to work I've tried (I'm not going to grade them or anything, as that would be getting silly ;)) I just thought I'd record the various lanes I've used to get to and from work.
The question is: What should I do about those couple of routes I've tried, where I ended up circling back to the station only to catch the train in because I'd run out of time? I could of course mark off every road I've ever ridden on but that seems a little obsessional :)
