That is so wrong, I don't even think most guys would think, "hmm, lets go to Gap for some pants." They would more likely be, "Where the hell are my pants? I know I'll grab that pair on the floor in the corner of the lounge room."

Also, I wouldn't go to Gap for pants because
a) I'm too poor
b) I do not give a damn where I buy my pants from,

I think 99% of guys wouldn't, but 99% of women would, so they needed something to compare the two.

I still have pants from the 9th grade. Any new stuff need is either met by christmas gifts or I need them for biking or cross country skiing or some other special purpose, so I buy some technical, synthetic, super functional, long lasting, no brand name, pants at an outdoor store, or I need heavy-duty, non-chinese made crap, work pants, which I get at the local redneck shop.
