Okay maybe I'm just nuts but I've been searching for the master link on this 24" huffy That I have bent the wheel. I'm pretty sure I have to take the chain off the derailurer.

Not all chains have a master link. Do you have a chain tool? On the other hand, you wouldn't need to break the chain just to remove the wheel to true it....you might want to do some reading in the repair section of parktool.com

Not all chains have a master link.
Inexpensive bikes with derailleurs generally don't have a chain with a master link.
Bikes with derailleurs that do have a master link in the chain, the master link doesn't look at all like the master link on a singlespeed/internally geared hub chain.
You should not have to remove the chain to remove the rear wheel on any bicycle.

Thanks appreciate the input. I did not see any type of master link and it is a cheaper bike. But if I don't need to break the chain to get the rim out I wont worry about it. And im used to atv/dirtbike chain's and thier master links so if you say it looks different I most likely wouldn't be able to find it regardless :thumb:

Here are the steps to remove the rear wheel; you can find more detailed instructions and maybe pics/videos online.
1) Shift bike into smallest rear sproclet (cog) and smallest dront sprocket (chainring).
2) Open rear brake's quick release. Different styles have different quick releases. You should not have to loosen any bolts (i.e. where the cable is bolted) unless there is no quick release. Alternatively, if the tire is deflated, then it should clear the brake pads without opening the quick release or disconnecting the cable.
3) Loosen rear axle nuts or open quick release.
4) Rotate rear derailleur back so that there isn't any chain below the cog and the wheel should fall out.
