Hybrid Bicycles - Any store/online carries this kind of cycling pants?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I've only seen this type of pants selling in some UK and Japan's online store which their shipping kills the deal. I am hoping to find this kind of 3/4 cycling pants somewhere in town or online store (US/Canada). Can anyone help?

Don't know ... But if I bought those I'm sure (right or wrong) my friends would ask me to turn in my "man card", LOL. Personally, I've seen better options that look more like dedicated cycling wear. Maybe it's just that top picture and the guy's stance, etc. that looks weird. I'm dedicated old school but if you like 'em, then why not. Try Jenson USA. If it is cycling oriented then they probably have it.

search "knickers", American definition. Several online stores carry then in a range of prices.

I bought some knickers from Nashbar, their house brand on sale. Not a great fit, but OK for the money. I guess I got suckered by the copy which described the C pants as being "C for Cargo, Commuting, Courier", all Cs I related to. They did not mention Capri, haha.
Functionally, knickers keep knees warm in cooler temps which is sort of important in avoiding knee injury. Warm knees are happy knees. Pants that cover knees and can't get caught between the chain and chainwheels are good for biking.
If you look more manly in tights than in knickers, you are proportioned differently than me. I prefer pants that leave something to the imagination, if you get my drift.

Check out Chrome. www.chromebagsstore.com. They make great pants, knickers, shirts and bags. Some almost identical to the picture.
