I'll be in Berlin on business but have the entire weekend free. I would love to rent a bike for the weekend and explore the country.

Any suggestions on where I could rent one, costs, should I bring pedals?

Hi,

I haven't rented in Berlin but I spent 5 days there last Easter with my wife. They have a velo type rental scheme for getting around town but I take it you want to go further.

We saw plenty of bike shops in Berlin most advertising bikes for rent. Treking types mostly. We stayed in the Kleistpark area and there was a bike rental shop right on Kleistpark Platz.

Berlin is very flat and bike friendly.
