hey guys i was wondering where i could find a spec sheet for a 1974 schwinn le tour. I am building it into a single speed and need to know a few of the measurements to order parts and such.

What size headset do i need to purchase? would a 1-1/8" threadless headset work?

and what type/size bottom bracket does the schwinn have?

any and all help would be appreciated...
i just got into these types of bikes, i used to race bmx my entire childhood, but now i live in the city (chicago) and love these road/ss/fixed bikes!

It'll have a 1" threaded headset. You equipped to install?

1 & 1/8" headset will be too big. If you are using the original fork, I doubt that the steering tube is long enough to use a threadless headset and stem on it.

You need an English threaded, 24 threads per inch BB, and the length of the spindle is dependent on the crankset used. If you take the frame and cranks to the LBS, they should be able to sell the correct sized cartridge BB.
