Foo - Looking for a Word that is Between "Small" and "Tiny"

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Any ideas?
I tried looking up synomyms for "small" and "tiny" but came up with "minute" and "microscopic" of which both, to me, seem to be smaller than "tiny" rather than between "small" and "tiny."

It depends on what you are describing. You could use a "pinch" of salt if you're cooking.
Diminutive.
That's a good one, but we really need the content to solve this one.

This is a rather slight problem. If you think a little about it, you'll realize it's a trivial task to come up with a minor solution.
"little" is smaller than "small" and bigger than "tiny".

In the olden days, folks would role their eyes and say, "Here, let me Roget that for you. (http://thesaurus.com/browse/small)"
But since the internet has made thesauruses extinct like the dinosauruses, I'd suggest you try Google. (http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&q=synonym+for+small&aq=f&aqi=g5&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=280187d6f0589da0)

Speck. It was PeeWee Hermans dogs name, he was a bit to small to be a "Spot."

The context is that I am finishing up writing a set of 5 pieces for piano, under a minute each. I usually use rather descriptive titles for my compositions, but I don't want something too descriptive this time, on purpose. Therefore, if I use something slightly more creative than "5 Small Piano Pieces" or "5 Tiny Pieces for Piano," then I am still using a creative titling process in an indirect way. Make sense? It doesn't have to make sense, just bear with me.
So far, these are my favorites:
wee, puny

Insignificant
I must say, "5 Insignificant Piano Pieces" sounds pretty darn awesome, actually. I kind of like "5 Puny Piano Pieces," also.
BUT, while each piece is about a minute long, their content isn't puny. Hmmm....

In academics there is the least publishable unit, or minimum publishable unit. I don't know if you can have 5 barest piano pieces.

If they pack a lot into 1 minute each, how about "5 Abrupt Piano Pieces?"

This may be, seriously, the way to go!
If I get any royalties off the pieces, I may have to give credit to the titling where credit is due. Then again, Arvo Pärt's "Tabula rasa" was named by a friend, and I am not sure that he gets royalties for titling the very successful piece, but I digress. :D
