Foo - Yeah, another knife thread...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just picked up a new (to me) knife. This one was made by my former coworker (now retired), back in 2002. If its like his others, it is also O1 tool steel, micarta handles, brass guard and leather sheath. Tim sold this one to a coworker, who sold it to me.
Patterned after a Bob Loveless (RIP) Drop Point. I'd love to have an original Loveless but now that the legend has passed, his creations are through the roof. (And rightly so.)

That reminds me...i need to put my Leek into the mail to Kershaw so they can replace the torsion bar and sharpen it. I think I spent too much time playing with it when I got it. And I only cut myself a couple of times!

Obit for Bob Loveless, Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/09/14/AR2010091406652.html) (but taken from the LA Times)
Great article on Bob Loveless here (http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0BTT/is_183_30/ai_n26947533/pg_2/?tag=content;col1)
Its been said that Loveless commented that he couldn't afford any of his knives at the prices they were commanding.
