Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I was wondering if others are having problems with their Ascent Delta V Wireless Cyclocomputer http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=17943&subcategory_ID=4110
I am not getting consistant readings from the computer. The bracket in on the left side of the frint wheel and I have the magnet mounted to Mavic Ksyrium Elites.
Thanks

I have this computer, what problems are you having? The only time I have had an issue was on a foggy morning ride when everything seemed to get covered with water as it condensed. Since then I moved the trigger and magnet closer to the center of the wheel and have not had any more issues.
I have the magnet trigger 3/4 down the fork and have to take the unit out of the cradle to pick up the signal. While riding the speed will float up and down intermentatly.
I will try moving the sensor towards the middle.
Thanks for the advise.

I would check that the magnet is going over the little arrow on the trigger and that it is close enough to the trigger when it passes. The instructions said it should be 2mm from the trigger when it passes which is awefully close IMO so you may have too much space between the magnet and the trigger.
Mine only did this for one morning ride of roughly 4 miles and the other 380 miles I have on it have been flawless as far as I know. Seems like a good cheapy unit.
I moved the sensor about 2" below the brake and the computer is working great. It is amamzing how moving the sensor 4-5" closer made the difference. Thanks for your suggestions and much appreciated.
