Hey...
I came across these forums while looking for info on bmxing...
The summer is coming around here in Canada and I really want to get a bike
and get into the sport...
I am pretty sure I want to start with an all-round street bike...
Is this what is classified as a freestyle bike?
There are not too many people that are into bmxing around here..or at least that
I know..so I need all the advice I can get.
I am thinking about buying a bike off of EBAY....
anyone got any words about that?

What is a mid price range freestyle bike (if that is what I am looking for?)
Any riders from canada on here...
(what are the prices like here..and where is a good place to shop in canada).

I have been looking at haro and dk bikes...What are some other brands..

Really I just need some guidance..as to which models are good in the mid
price range..

Are there sites you suggest to read..or books to read...mags... etc...

These forums look sweet..glad I found you guys...

peace
matt

Hey... WELCOME !
I'm a roadie, so I won't be much help with guidance for the type of bike you want... but, there are plenty of folks here who can, and will help you out. Jump in whenever you can, this place is quite addicting.
I just wanted to say welcome aboard...

Hey, I might be able too help you... If your looking in to Haro Or DK I have some suggestions. If your just getting into it I would recommend the Shredder from haro and from Dk the DFX.
ANd I guess the air strike isn't bad. WHat is your price range (in US dollars if you can)?

Thanks for replying...

I want to spend about $250 usd and am more then willing to get a used bike..unless you think thats a bad idea...

how much do you need to spend to get a decent bike..

I could go as high as $325...but would rather not.

Don't get a used bike. IT will no longer have warranty on it. I would recommend the D.K DFX.
When your skills get better you can upgrade it.
