Hello,
I've noticed these funky looking Frogleggs pedals on European circuit and they are slowly making their way to the US. Someone told me that they are made in Slovakia (can someone confirm this?). Does anyone have these canties and if yes can you tell me how you like them? Are they good, bad, mediocre? Are they worth the money? What are some of drawbacks? How about good points?
Thanks

I have a brand new set which I'll be trying to sell. They are very nicely made (all alloy, etc).

They didn't work for me because the brake pads have a big profile and interfered with the carbon fork. This was when trying to use them on a Bianchi Axis and Cross Concept.

They also don't have fine spring tension adjustment like most canti's.

But they are otherwise very precise, well made brakes.

I dig these brakes. I've been on them for two years now with no problems. It takes a while to figure out how to get them dialed but once you know some tricks they work great. Hey dessert1st, you should just throw some KoolStop pads (lower profile) on yours & keep them. they are way easier to adjust than with the BIG Ritchey style pads they come with.

If you ever want to sell them, PM me and let me know what you want. I may consider them. I'm in Menlo Park, work in Sunnyvale.

I'm hoping to recupe most of what I paid for them, so I think I'll try for $99. They are brand new in the box. They are the black anodized version.

You can order them from cyclocrossworld, but then you have to pay shipping plus wait a couple of weeks.

I live one town over (Palo Alto).
