Interesting to watch the tree come down or to watch your dog watching you out the front instead of the forestry work out the back? Cool sequence, and I love those pointy ears.

Too bad they had to chop a tree that took decades to grow.
They could have just moved it:

You know, Bailey is thinking "WTF, MY TREE! Now where am I going to territory mark? You better be getting me a fire hydrant to upgrade....."

That's a very interesting article. But they max out at 24" Diameter trees. This tree was about 5 feet diameter. Also I have to pay for it. !!!!

Exactly !!

There has been a pair of morning doves on the garage roof ever since the tree left. I think I took their home. Bummer! :(

Tree with carpenter ants 2.5 times taller than the house + hurricane = possible one or two demolished houses and a garage or two. But I do miss the mini ecosystem that was in it. One branch could demolish a car or the garage.

Understandable. I don't blame you. Plus it looks real close to the structure.

It's just that it was a living thing.....

I am surprised that no one pointed out the obvious. The tree could have fallen on Bailey!

A very important point ! A few very big branches have fallen in the yard. They would have turned Bailey into a decal on a tree.

1) Kids
2) Bailey
3) bikes
4) everything else.
