I usually run a 130mm stem with drops and risers. I've never tried bullhorns but I want a set pronto. Do any of you run a shorter stem with them? If so, by how many mm?

I'll be using Deda Crononero:

I use a 110mm stem when I use my drops and I have a 100mm for my bullhorns.

Maybe try the same length first and go from there?

I have a 90mm stem sittinghere that is the right angle but it's a little ratty. I'll try it out but thought I might just get a shorter stem same time as the bars.

I run the same 90mm/100mm stems I run with road drops. I tried a 70mm, but it was just too short and when I was riding the horns, made me feel like I was too far over the steering axis. Not sure if I'm describing that right, but it just felt off.

I used the same stem when I had bullhorns. Compare the bars' reach to see if you need a new stem

90mm for drops, 70mm for bullhorns.
