Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Bought this bike for real cheap. My intention was to flip it, but decided to keep it. Here she is!! all busty looking, but shes pretty in my eyes!!

I wasn't sure about that color combo, but I think it turned out pretty well. Nice bike! I like it.
I also changed out my original Shimano SLR brake levers for Tektro white levers. I couldn't find replacement hoods for the SLR. So sad, but hopefully this will replace it tastefully.

yeah, when I installed the rear, I didn't think it would look good. But after the handle bar tape and the front wheel, it turned out pretty good. I got many complements while i was riding today! felt like i did good on the bike. haha

I actually do.
Also, good on you for not grinding off the cable guides and the downtube shifter mounts. I thought the extension cord was for an angle grinder.

haha nope, not gonna take those off. Just gonna leave em on there. I know some will hate, but its just gonna be how I roll. I'll snap some pics for you when theres light outside. but in the mean time, here are some projects he made...
The first couple of pictures are before he remodeled the backyard... I have more of the before, but can't find them right now.

yup, hes an architect, but also loves building things out of wood. the funny part about those chairs is that he didnt buy those woods. He made by gluing together wood from crates like from costco. those plat form crates? I was amazed his gluing wood technique works. the trellis and all that are made with better woods.

thats definitely one of the better conversions out there.

seriously? Do people really do that for their velocity wheels?

Many people dislike the stickers and take them off. Personally, I like the stickers and never take them off unless they're obnoxious.

same here, Wouldn't you want others to know your rockin velocity wheels? haha If I took them off, it looks like I painted it and would look ghetto in my opinion.

lol, yeah, I was sooo worried when i put the rear wheel on. I had it with the yellow bar tape and was thinking this is not working out. But I bought blue bar tape a while back to replace the old yellow one. bike looks decent now. :)

too tarcky for me. I think that color frame and some kind of brown (or tan) color combo would work.
Gonna get a blue saddle??

i previously had a black saddle, but purchased this white saddle. I would change up things, but I just did the conversion this weekend. I wanna rock this setup for now. :)
