I just bought a norco wolverine and ive already rewened 2 pairs of pants, apart from wearing shorts, is there anything i can do to stop or prevent this, ive heard bash guards can help but im weary of losing the third front gear. Any suggestions would be helpful.

get an alastic sweet band, and put it around your ankle and around your pants.... thats what i do when i ride in the winter.... it might work for you, might not... try using 2 of them

tuck your pants (id assume they are baggy) into your socks. sure it looks stupid, but so does a ripped pair of pants (trust me, i know)

You could roll up your pants, that always helps.....or just get a bashguard.

I think the point of him wearing pants is to protect himself from the weeds and bushes and stuff... so i think rolling them up would defeat the purpose lol. a bashgaurd would work wonders though :)

I think Salsa or Problem Solvers makes a bash ring that is applied to the outside of the big ring. I'll have to do a little searching!
Other than that, get some velcro straps.
Or, get some knee/shin pads and wear them on top of your pants.

The answer is simple. Wear shorts. If you get cold, get shinnies or get used to it! I wear shorts riding all year round and never have any problems
Hey Anthonaut, true to that, but in AUSTRALIA. Here it doesn't really get that cold.
What I'd do if I had that problem is get a bash guard or chaindevice or tuck my pants into my socks or get some velcro straps or elastic sweat bands to wrap around the pant leg.
