Did my second century this past Friday. It was a group charity ride to support the Center for Missing and Exploited Children. I recommend these rides to anyone in New York state. It is a fun group ride with nice people, lots of good food, and it is for a very good cause. They do a series of rides. I did the Rochester ride last spring (with >300 riders). Last Friday was the finger lakes ride with 55 riders. The finger lakes course is beautiful and has some nice hills. The ride stops at several elementary schools throughout the day and the cheering kids make you feel like a Tour de France rider. That's me below on the bike with green panniers. I plan to do it again next year.

I got a few comments about the panniers from other riders. I always ride with them and can't seem to go without....kind of like a kid's safety blanket or favorite stuffed animal. :)
