Ive been using this more often than Id like on recent tour after my chain fell into the spokes.
Its small to carry but takes some care to use.
It doesnt work on a tight shop-fitted cassette lockring, Fit the lockring handtight using the NBT tool with a short handle wrench (like a Cooltool) Keep and eye on the lockring in case it becomes loose.
On horizontal dropouts with adjustable screws, back out the screws .
Use the instruction to set low gear and insert tool. You need top remove the driveside QR spiral spring. Keep this safe in a bag. DONT work near a drainage grating.
The cassette comes out in several parts. Have some paper , plastic or cloth to lay them on.
You DONT need to use the pedals to tighten (as advised in instructions). Just use a wrench.
You will forget how to use the tool so take the instruction sheet with you.
