Cyclocross - Tube size for 700x34 tire: 28-32 or 35-38?

Probably a silly question, but I'm putting on new tires that are 700x34, 60-80 psi. Tube sizes at Performance are 28-32 or 35-38. I'm thinking the smaller size should be ok to expand to the 700x34 tire, but don't want it to be too thin.
These are the standard Forte tubes which I've used without problem for years on road and mountain bikes. I don't race, but do ride off road on some local mtn bike trails that have some gravel and rocky sections.
The 28-32 is more likely to pinch flat. The bigger size would also work.

Yep, the bigger one will be thicker when it's inflated. A good thing.
Smaller one - lighter, thinner, probably better if you're racing
Bigger one - heavier, thicker, probably better if you're doing utilitarian riding
They'll both work fine, I've run 23c tubes in my 32c cross tires before because it's all I had in my pack to replace a flat. Take a tube outside of a tire and inflate it sometime - they get big enough.
