what back fender is this?
i really like it. and the build. yes, a back fender and no front is sort of silly.....but you know what? i like the looks of it and thats about it lol.....its like a fixed gear spoiler! yes i am shallow when it comes to builds ie looks sometimes over function but whatever. keep your negative subjective opinions to yourself, you jerk. just kidding, flame away! ^_^
have a nice day SSFG!

Sorry to be of no help on ID'ing, but....
I ride full fenders, F&R, with flaps.... and I still get soaked in the rain after 30 minutes riding. That thing is too short to protect your back from the brown spray that will kick up off the back tire. It does not extend down far enough to keep the backs of your ankels and drive-train from getting a bunch of gunk and crud strewn on it.
It will however keep 1/3 of your seat tube and the underside of your saddle free from dirty water.
No ill will intended, just realize it will do almost the same as not having no fender at all.....

That's what I was going to say. Including the "being no help" part. I think full fenders look the best by far, and protect you from spray the best by far too.
I tried to sneak my way into the original post using the image url but no luck.

The fender in the OP won't keep your back clean. It looks like a 26" Planet Bike clip-on except I haven't seen them in silver. I had one of those on my first hybrid, and I'd choose any other type of fender instead of doing that again. I run full fenders where I can, and I'll probably do speedez on my new bike with less clearance.

It looks like they took a rear Zefal Trail, sliced several inches off of it, painted it silver and mounted it pretty high. Could easily be a Planet Bike like CC sez, also with several inches cut off it. The shape looks more Zefal-ish to me, though.

I run back fender only on all my bikes except the cruiser. I have a higher tolerance for wet feet than wet rump. I put some boots on when I want dryer, warmer feet.

Also remember that raindrops still try to travel in an arc relative to the bike. And in the vacuum behind your back, there's often not a lot of wind preventing them from doing so. So you need more coverage than a straight line like that.

The Zefal kinda scratched the paint of my Univega's seattube after running it for a couple seasons.
Now I'm all about the backscratcher style.
