I just received an email that a video I posted may be eligible for this program which promises a share of revenue from an ad placed next to it.

Does anyone have experience with this program? Thing is, the video was made for a friend and the reason it's getting hits is due to being embedded on his website. I'm not sure that would matter if the ads are placed on the actual youtube page, but I can also see having ads taking away from views there too.

Do I keep it pure or sell out?

I just read a very similar question on a different website.

I am repeating things second hand here, but the other person sold out and after a while only made like $0.11 a month or something. :D YMMV.

You could also ask them for your nickel up front.

Hey, you do a Frank & Beans in a fixie chainring...you get lots of hits. :twitchy:

It's this one (http://www.kingcage.com/). For whatever reason I just got a huge spike in hits. Ron may be doing some promotion with it, so I really don't want to mess with it. I gave it as a gift and making money off of it (even if it's pennies) just doesn't seem too cool.
