I brought my bike and have been hard pressed to find anywhere as bike friendly as home. Can anyone recommend some good roads/areas to ride? I don't mind tossing the bike in the cage to find good riding, but I have no idea where to look.

Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island may work for you.

The area west of you from Summerville toward Walterboro may be OK, too.

supported ride, even though I know that probably isn't quite what you were looking for....metric and century routes..

This morning, I parked under the Cooper River Bridge on the Mt Pleasant side, rode back and forth over the bridge 4 times and went down 703 to Isle of Palms and tooled around there. I got in just shy of 50 miles and had a great time. I'll probably do some more exploring in that area tomorrow.

It's incredible, back home it's 50 and drizzle. One thing I do wish is that I had trailered down my FJR.
